So you've decided to sell Perfectly posh. (aka tips for the new consultant)

So you finally decided to pull the trigger and sell Perfectly posh. Congrats! You have just started down a journey that is so much fun it doesn't feel like work for one second.
The day your kit arrives and you go through it with excitement I bet your next thought is What now?

Here are the amazing trials and tips I have learned and now I want to share my favorite ten  with you.

  1. First off. The Dollar tree is your best friend. You can get mailing labels, you can get stickers, you can get gorgeous little organza sample bags six for a dollar(party aisle). For me it is spring, I have just stocked  up on these cute baskets in gorgeous pink of course. I stocked up on these to store my bags and samples in.
  2. Now you get to work. One happy afternoon spent making samples. This is why I suggested the organza bags earlier. They fit a sample or two and a business card in them perfectly. Don't get too generous and don't get too skimpy on your sample making. My first goal I wanted more and more and came out with samples that had less and less in them. Good going! Now you have product samples. For soaps? Microwave for 15 seconds and you can get up to thirty samples. To store? Walmart has little bags in the jewelry aisle 100 for $1.00. Slap a sample label on them and bam! You will definitely need more sample containers. These containers are my go to. I just ordered these because pink!
  3. How to present your samples? I use the assortment of bags I have gathered from all of the dollar bins.(think pink). Michaels has 24 for $1.99. I use a heart or a kiss sticker to seal mine and staple my business card to it.
  4. What to do with those samples you have made? Hand them out to EVERYONE. I leave soap chunk samples in bathrooms, I hand sample bags to cashiers. I hand samples out to almost everyone I meet. They will try the products, they will love them and they will buy them.
  5. You got a starter of 25 posh papers. What to do? Label them up first. I use my name, email and direct link to my website( avery 5160). Where to leave them? Doctors offices, waiting rooms, car dealership lounges, restaurants, I may or may not have left reading material in a bathroom or 2. The sky and your creativity are the limit. You're going to want to get more. They are only $10.00 for a resupply on the posh portal.
  6. How to get organized? I took a 40% off coupon at hobby lobby and bought a Heidi Swapp Calendar. You can use anything. a notebook, a wall calendar, a day planner...I keep track of orders, parties, dates I will be away, when to reorder stock and all of my customers new and old. It is a lifesaver.
  7. You have decided you need more samples and are running low...what to do. I suggest chunks Bfyhc and facial masks. I sell them like hotcakes from giving people samples to try. I wouldn't waste my money on lipglosses or body washes because they aren't as easy to sample out.
  8.  Social Media! Go crazy on twitter and Insta. Let everyone know you're out there and ready to sell. I wouldn't suggest turning your facebook into an advertisement. I lost a few "friends" when I started and didn't know better. I did make a facebook group here. With a group if people don't want to learn all about posh(and I know you want to tell the world) They don't have to follow or join.
  9.  Supplies You will probably need.
    • A paper cutter to make your own postcards and pocket cards. You can get one at walmart for $10.  100 sheets of cardstock is $3.97 with a papercutter, you save that cash you don't have yet.
    • General business supplies, paper pens(pink of course) Avery round labels, you can add from there to suit your tastes. I love sticky notes as reminders. They can go on your board or go in your planner....or if you aren't into that kind of thing, they go nowhere.
    • Thank you cards. Scour the dollar bin at target or michaels. I have picked up super cute ones.
  10. Where to get advertising materials. Here are some of  my favorite facebook secrets.
    • Perfectly posh rockstar graphics  There are some amazingly talented people here and the graphics are FTU(free to use)
    • Perfectly posh business building this one has a ton of great tips to get you started and keep you poshing on.
    • Posh Talk This is the official facebook group of perfectly posh. There are many incentives and plenty to talk about.
    • Everything Posh Oh my, the files and graphics you have to choose from there to use as printouts.
